Item 8.01. Other Events.

On December 21, 2012, Louisiana Economic Development issued a press release announcing a potential ammonia plant at The Mosaic Company’s existing Faustina site in Louisiana, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.

The press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. contains forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995.
