Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
This current report on Form 8-K/A amends the report on Form 8-K filed October 12, 2012 by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (the "Bank") to announce the election of Donna C. Goodrich, John C. Neal, F. Gary Garczynski, and LaSalle D. (Donney) Leffall, III to the Bank's board of directors. On October 25, 2012, the board of directors elected Donna C. Goodrich and William C. Handorf as Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, of the board, each for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2013. On December 6, 2012, the Bank made the following committee assignments for the directors elected in the 2012 director elections:
