Southwest Georgia Financial Corporation

Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

MOULTRIE, GEORGIA, November 29, 2012 -- Southwest Georgia Financial Corporation (NYSE MKT: SGB), the parent company of Southwest Georgia Bank, announced that its Board of Directors at its meeting yesterday, declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per common share. The dividend is payable December 20, 2012 to shareholders of record on December 10, 2012. The Company has approximately 2.5 million shares of common stock outstanding.

The Company paid a cash dividend of $0.04 per common share in March, May, and September 2012. Southwest Georgia Financial Corporation or its predecessor, Southwest Georgia Bank, has paid cash dividends for 84 consecutive years.
