KBW, Inc. Declares Special Dividend of $2.00 per Share of
Common Stock
 
New York – November 29, 2012 – KBW, Inc.  (NYSE:  KBW), a full-service investment bank that specializes in the financial services sector, today announced that its Board of Directors had declared a special dividend of two dollars ($2.00) per share on the company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on December 17, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 10, 2012.
 
On November 5, 2012, KBW announced that it had entered into a merger agreement with Stifel Financial Corp.  The merger agreement provides that the cash portion of the merger consideration will be reduced to reflect the payment of the special dividend.
