ITEM 8.01. OTHER EVENTS.
On October 31, 2012, Rand Logistics, Inc. issued a press release announcing the commencement of service of its articulated tug barge vessel acquired in December, 2011. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
