Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
The purpose of this Form 8-K/A is to correct an exhibit that was furnished with the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by Regal Beloit Corporation (the “Company”) with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 1, 2012 (the “Original Filing”). The exhibit was a news release dated July 31, 2012 reporting the financial results of the Company for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 (the “News Release”). Due to an administrative error, the version of the News Release furnished with the Original Filing omitted the table showing net sales for the three and six months ended June 30, 2012 and July 2, 2011. A corrected version of the News Release including the net sales table is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
