Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 4, 2012, Paladin Realty Income Properties, Inc. (the “Company”) retained financial advisor Houlihan Lokey Capital, Inc. to assist the Company in identifying and evaluating strategic alternatives for the Company and its portfolio. The Company, however, cannot assure that the identification or evaluation to be performed will result in any specific action or transaction.
The Company does not intend to comment further regarding the evaluation of strategic alternatives, unless a definitive agreement for a specific transaction is entered into or it otherwise deems further disclosure is appropriate or required.
