On August 28, 2012, Columbia Banking System, Inc. (“Columbia”) announced the appointment of Clint E. Stein as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Columbia and Columbia Bank. Mr. Stein has been serving as acting Chief Financial Officer since May 2012, following the retirement of Gary Schminkey.
Mr. Stein joined Columbia in December 2005, when he assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. He has over 18 years of experience in finance and accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
