On August 20, 2012, Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT, Inc. issued a press release announcing the purchase of a $45.9 million data center portfolio, which consists of two data center properties located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. A copy of the press release, which is hereby incorporated into this filing in its entirety, is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
