Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 31, 2012, our Board of Directors appointed Antonios (Tony) Basoukeas as our Group Vice President and Group Financial Controller. Mr. Basoukeas joined Travelport in January 2009 and has served as Head of Financial Planning, Reporting and Commercial Finance. Prior to joining Travelport, Mr. Basoukeas served in various roles with General Electric Corporation since 1990, including the role of Chief Financial Officer of GE SeaCo, the container leasing part of General Electric. Prior to General Electric, Mr. Basoukeas held positions with Del Monte Corporation and KMPG Peat Marwick, where he obtained his Certified Public Accounting accreditation.
