EXPLANATORY NOTE
On April 15, 2011, Xun Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) under Items 2.01, 5.06 and 9.01 to report consummation of three oil and gas lease assignments in Kentucky (the “Original 8-K”). This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends the Original 8-K to incorporate by reference certain information contained in the Company’s Form 10-K for the year ended May 31, 2010 filed with the SEC on August 30, 2010 (the “Form 10-K”).
Item 2.01 Completion of Acquisition or Disposition of Assets.
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends Item 2.01 of the Original 8-K to incorporate by reference Item 7 (Management’s Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations) of the Form 10-K.
Item 9.01 Financial Statements and Exhibits
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends Item 9.01(a) and Item 9.01(b) of the Original 8-K to incorporate by reference Item 8 (Financial Statements and Supplementary Data) of the Form 10-K.
