On August 2, 2012, American Superconductor Corporation (“AMSC”) announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2012 ended June 30, 2012. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
