On July 31, 2012, Newtek Business Services, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release entitled “Newtek Business Services, Inc. Reports Second Quarter 2012 Pretax Income of $1.9 Million and EPS of $0.03 Per Diluted Share” (the “Press Release”). A copy of the Press Release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
