Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 26, 2012, the Federal Home Loan Bank issued a press release announcing that Michael C. Clifton had joined the Bank as senior vice president and chief information officer. Most recently, Mr. Clifton was vice president and chief information officer with Hanover Insurance Group, where he had been employed since 2003 in progressively expansive roles. Mr. Clifton is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
