Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 9, 2012, Five Star Quality Care, Inc., or FVE, issued a press release announcing that it and certain of its subsidiaries had entered into an agreement with Omnicare, Inc. and certain of its subsidiaries to sell FVE’s pharmacy business. A copy of that press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
