Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 28, 2012, the Board of Directors ("Board") of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka ("FHLBank") amended the Board of Directors Compensation Policy ("Policy"). The Policy provides that directors shall be compensated based on attendance at board meetings and the director’s performance of official FHLBank business. The Policy was amended to authorize adjustments to or the clawback of a director’s compensation if the Board determines that the compensation to be paid or previously paid to a director does not reflect the director’s performance of official FHLBank business.
A copy of the Policy is attached hereto as Exhibit 10.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
