Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 27, 2012, Trustmark Corporation, a Mississippi corporation, issued a joint press release with Federated Investors, Inc. (“Federated”) announcing the execution of a definitive agreement between Federated, Trustmark Investment Advisors, Inc. and Trustmark National Bank. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
