Item 7.01 - Regulation FD Disclosure; Item 8.01 - Other Events.
On June 19, 2012, Fulton Financial Corporation ("Fulton") announced that its board of directors approved a share repurchase program pursuant to which Fulton is authorized to repurchase up to five million shares, or approximately 2.5 percent of Fulton’s outstanding shares, through December 31, 2012.
The June 19, 2012 press release announcing the share repurchase program is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference.
