Item 8.01. Other Events
On June 11, 2012, Indiana Community Bancorp (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing that its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”) will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The record date for determining shareholders of record entitled to vote at the meeting is June 15, 2012. The date of the 2012 Annual Meeting will be more than 30 days after the anniversary of the 2011 annual meeting of shareholders. In this regard, the Registrant also announced the advanced notice deadlines for proposals by shareholders for the Annual Meeting. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and is incorporated herein by reference.
