Other Events

1st Century Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) will make an oral presentation accompanied by a slide presentation on May 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time at the 13^th Annual B. Riley & Co. Investor Conference to be held in Santa Monica, CA.  The presentation will be delivered by the Company’s President/Chief Operating Officer.  

The Company will also make an oral presentation accompanied by the same slide presentation on May 23, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time at the Company’s Annual Stockholders Meeting.  The presentation will be delivered by the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and President/Chief Operating Officer.

A copy of that slide presentation is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
