Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 15, 2012, LKQ Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it will change its ticker symbol on the NASDAQ from “LKQX” to “LKQ” on May 22, 2012. A copy of the Company’s press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and is incorporated herein by reference.
