On April 17, 2012, West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (Company) issued a press release pre-announcing its first quarter 2012 earnings per share and updating its 2012 earnings per share guidance. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
