Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On April 4, 2012, Carl Long, the Chief Accounting Officer of DigitalGlobe, Inc. (the “Company”), resigned from his position with the Company, effective April 17, 2012, in order to pursue a new role at a different company. Following Mr. Long’s resignation, Yancey L. Spruill, the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer will fill the role of the Company’s principal accounting officer, a role he held prior to Mr. Long’s appointment in December 2010.
