Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 29, 2012, Pixelworks, Inc. (the “Company”) licensed certain of its existing technologies to a third party (the “Customer”) for use in the Customer's integrated circuit or bundled for use with the Customer's integrated circuit. The Company currently expects the license to result in revenue of approximately $4 million to $5 million during 2012. The exact timing and amount of such revenue, however, cannot be determined at this time and there is no assurance that all of such revenue will be recorded by the Company. Accordingly, actual recorded revenue from the license could vary materially from the Company's current expectations.
