Item 8.01.  Other Events.

On March 23, 2012, Bruker Energy & Supercon Technologies, Inc. (“BEST”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bruker Corporation, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “Commission”) an application for withdrawal of its Registration Statement on Form S-1, together with all exhibits and amendments thereto, initially filed with the Commission on September 3, 2010. The Registration Statement has not been declared effective. BEST, with the agreement of Bruker Corporation, has determined not to proceed at this time with the proposed initial public offering of BEST common stock because of current market conditions.
