Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 20, 2012, the registrant announced the results of a pre-clinical animal study of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), demonstrating that PLX cells effectively improve several cardiac hemodynamic parameters in animals that received those cells. The registrant intends to move ahead with trials for AMI subject to regulatory approvals.
