On March 7, 2012, Ecosphere Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Jimmac Lofton as a director, beginning March 15, 2012. In connection with his appointment, Mr. Lofton received an automatic option grant under the Company’s 2006 Equity Incentive Plan which is described in the Company’s 2011 Proxy Statement filed on November 16, 2011.
