Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On March 8, 2012, Armand Correia, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ascena Retail Group, Inc. (the “Company”), gave one year’s advance notice to the Board of Directors of the Company of his retirement as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Correia, age 66, has been employed as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 1991 and has held the position of Executive Vice President since 2009.
