Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 27, 2012, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, a Delaware Corporation (the "Company"), announced the United Steelworkers of America Local 207L has ratified a new five-year contract. A copy of the news release issued by the Company is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
