Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On February 21, 2012, CAMAC Energy Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has entered into a heads of agreement with the Kenyan Ministry of Energy for the award of three exploration blocks in Kenya. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
