Item 8.01 Other Events.
On February 17, 2012, the Board of Directors of Corning Natural Gas Corporation (the "Company") increased the Company's per share dividend from $0.115/quarter to $0.12/quarter for the quarter ending March 31, 2012, for shareholders of record on March 31, 2012. The dividend is payable on or about April 15, 2012.
