Item 8.01. Other Events
On February 3, 2012, Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it had received notification from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that the partial clinical hold on IDX184 has been removed and that the Company’s 12-week phase IIb study evaluating IDX184 in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin may continue.
The full text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. Exhibit 99.1 is incorporated by reference into this Current Report on Form 8-K.
