Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 30, 2012, Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. issued a press release announcing the resolution by its subsidiary, Asset Acceptance, LLC, of an investigation by the Federal Trade Commission through a consent decree. The full text of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated in this report by reference.
