In connection with iGATE Corporation’s previously announced intention to commence a process that could lead to the delisting of its majority-owned subsidiary, Patni Computer Systems Limited (“Patni”), on January 25, 2012, Patni distributed a letter to holders of American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) with instructions regarding how to cancel ADSs for shares, open an Indian demat account and obtain a PAN card in order to participate in the delisting offer. A copy of the letter to the holders of ADS is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
