Item 7.01.  Regulation FD Disclosure.

On January 24, 2012, Alliant Techsystems Inc. (“ATK”) was notified that the U.S. Army had completed its review of ATK’s revised proposal for a contract to continue operating and maintaining the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, Virginia and that ATK had not been awarded the contract.
