Item 5.02 - Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 17, 2012, Fulton Financial Corporation (“Fulton”) received the resignation of Dana A. Chryst, who has been a director of Fulton since 2008. Ms. Chryst’s decision to resign was not the result of any disagreement relating to Fulton’s operations, policies or practices and her resignation from Fulton was effective January 17, 2012 when it was accepted by Fulton’s Board of Directors. Ms. Chryst has also tendered her resignation from the Board of Directors of Fulton’s subsidiary, Fulton Bank, National Association.
