Item 8.01 Other Events.
Gulf Resources, Inc. (the “Company”) received a testing report (the “Report”) dated January 16, 2012 regarding bromine concentration in the underground brine water resources in Daying County, Sichuan Province from a third-party independent testing corporation, Centre Testing International Corporation. On January 19, 2012, the Company issued a press release announcing the result of the Report.
Copies of the Report and the press release are attached as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2 hereto.
