Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 6, 2012, Marine Products Corporation issued a press release titled, “Marine Products Corporation Announces Date for Fourth Quarter and Annual 2011 Financial Results and Conference Call.” The press release announced that Marine Products Corporation will release its fourth quarter and annual 2011 financial results on January 25, 2012 prior to the market open. This release also provided the related conference call information.
