Item 8.01 Other Events.
Effective January 1, 2012, the role of Mr. George A. Schmidt, Esq., the Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of Glimcher Realty Trust (the “Registrant”), was adjusted to the role of Executive Vice President of Development, General Counsel and Secretary of the Registrant and its several affiliates.
