(c) On December 20, 2011, Stein Mart, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that D. Hunt Hawkins, 52, previously the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Hawkins joined the Company in February 1994 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. He was promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations in September 2006 and to Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer in October 2007. Information technology, supply chain and human resources reported to Mr. Hawkins as Chief Administrative Officer. With his new role, store operations and e-commerce will additionally report to him.
