Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On December 20, 2011, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (the “Bank”) issued an announcement to its members covering the following: (i) the Bank’s plan to vary dividend payments in 2012 on membership and activity based capital stock; (ii) the anticipated 2012 schedule for repurchasing excess activity based capital stock; and (iii) revisions to the amount of excess activity based capital stock a member is permitted to retain. A copy of the announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
