Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(b) On Monday, December 5, 2011, Michael I. Connolly resigned from his position as interim co-Chief Executive Officer of Global Axcess Corp. (the “Company”), to pursue other career opportunities. Mr. Connolly will continue to serve as a member of the Company’s board of directors. The Company thanks him for his leadership role, dedicated efforts, and assistance over this challenging period.
Lock Ireland will continue his leadership role as interim Chief Executive Officer with certain of Mr. Connolly’s prior responsibilities being assumed by Michael Loiacono, Chief Financial Officer and Mark Caramuta, Chief Operating Officer.
