Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Weight Watchers International, Inc. has appointed Mr. Bruce Rosengarten as its President, Asia Pacific effective as of December 5, 2011. As part of Mr. Rosengarten’s appointment to serve as the Company’s President, Asia Pacific, Ms. Melanie Stubbing, currently the Company’s President, International, will assume the role of President, Europe for the Company effective December 5, 2011.
On December 2, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing the appointment of Mr. Rosengarten. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
