Item 8.01. Other Events
 
Due in part to ongoing consultations with shareholders, the Board of Directors of Extreme Networks, Inc. (“Extreme Networks”) has unanimously agreed to indefinitely extend the deadline for shareholder proposals for the next annual meeting of shareholders of Extreme Networks.   Under the bylaws of Extreme Networks, shareholders will have ten days in which to submit any proposals following the public announcement of the date of the next annual meeting of shareholders.
