Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

Members of Health Net, Inc.’s management team (the "Company") expect to make a presentation and meet with investors and analysts at the 20th Annual Credit Suisse Healthcare Conference on November 10, 2011 (the "Credit Suisse Conference") and the Citi 8th Annual US Small/Mid Cap Conference (the "Citi Conference") on November 15, 2011. During these presentations and meetings, the Company intends to address its prospects and historical performance, and will reaffirm the Company’s earnings guidance for the full year 2011, as previously announced in a press release issued on November 2, 2011. In addition, during these presentations and meetings, the Company intends to reaffirm its preliminary comments relating to full year 2012 performance, as previously announced on the Company’s third quarter earnings conference call on November 2, 2011. A transcript of the Company’s third quarter 2011 earnings conference call is available in the "Investor Relations – Presentations and Webcasts – Transcripts" section of the Company’s website at www.healthnet.com.

The Company will give its presentation at the Credit Suisse Conference at approximately 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) and will give its presentation at the Citi Conference at approximately 12:25 p.m. (Eastern Time). A live audio webcast of each of these presentations will be available in the "Investor Relations – Presentations and Webcasts" section of the Company’s website at www.healthnet.com. A replay of each of the Company’s presentations and the Company slides for each of the presentations also will be available on the Company’s website.
