Item 8.01 Other Events
On November 7, 2011, Southern Missouri Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the parent corporation of Southern Bank, announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of one million shares of the Company’s common stock. The Company intends to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the common stock sold to cover over-allotments, if
any. A copy of the press release issued by the Company announcing the commencement of the offering is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
