On October 12, 2011, United Technologies Corporation (“UTC”) issued a joint press release with Rolls-Royce plc announcing that it had entered into certain agreements with Rolls-Royce plc. A copy of the UTC press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
