On October 16, 2011, Kinder Morgan, Inc. (“KMI”) and El Paso Corporation (“EP”) issued a joint press release announcing that they had entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger.  The full text of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
 
On October 16, 2011, KMI made available an investor presentation related to its acquisition of EP.  The full text of this presentation is filed as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
