On October 11, 2011, Strategic American Oil Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it has received its fiscal year end independent reserve report for the Company's productive interests in Texas and Louisiana as of July 31, 2011, which was prior to the recent acquisition of SPE Navigation I, LLC.

A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
