On October 12, 2011, M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. announced that it will redeem all of its outstanding 5.50% Senior Notes due 2013, which total $176,696,000, on November 14, 2011. A copy of the press release dated October 12, 2011 related to the announcement of the redemption is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
